President's Welcome
Welcome to the KCK Sunflower Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) website. Our chapter provides an opportunity for administrative professionals to network and grow their professional potential in order to meet the demands of today’s workplace. Throughout the year, the Chapter provides a variety of educational and networking opportunities for our members and guests from monthly meeting speakers, to our annual seminar, to networking with others in our field.
The chapter recently reduced its chapter dues from $15.00 a year to $4.00 a year in order to help in this time of economic hardship. Our membership dues are now only $99.00 a year! (which is about 25 cents a day). What a “remarkable” move in this economy.
Join us at any of our events listed on the website. This year we will have some luncheon meetings in lieu of an evening meeting. Membership dues cover the costs associated with the association; however, if the Chapter meets at a restaurant, there is a minimal cost if you choose to have dinner or a light snack.
Won’t you please join us and see what we’re all about! You are welcome at any and all events. Just call or e-mail (913-573-5758 or jparker@wycokck.org) so we know you are coming.
We hope you join us in “Making the Leap to Remarkable”.
Janet L. Parker, CSC/APC
President
